Store centrallås problemer.

Post by savage-mac » Sun 20. Nov 2016 16:58

Hey..

Generic Electronic Module
( GEM )

NOTE: The Generic Electronic Module – is also known as the – Central Timer Unit (CTU).

General Information:

1: As from early 2001, a GEM is fitted to control the following functions:
A) Direction indicators/Hazard warnings light control.
B) Interior light control.
C) Instrument panel dimmer control.
D) Heated windscreen rear window deactivation control.
E) Wiper interval & washer control.
F) Lights-On warning
G) Door not closed warning
H) Automatic transmission PRNDL warning.
I) Generation of warning & confirmation tones.
J) Battery protection function (Switching off interior lights after a predetermined delay)
K) Windows/Sunroof closing system control.
L) Checking that doors & tailgate are closed activating a warnings buzzer.
M) Window regulator & sliding roof closing control.
N) Vehicle static condition monitoring (anti-theft warnings system).
2: The Generic Electronic Module will automatically activate the rear wiper if reverse gear is engaged when the windscreen wipers are switched on. The mode of operation is adapted to the windscreen wipers; if the windscreen wipers are in continual mode, the rear wiper, also be in continual mode, & similarly if the windscreen wipers are in intermittent mode, likevise the rear wiper will be in intermittent mode. Note, however, that the rear wiper has only one intermittent speed.
3: The remote central locking areal is attached to the central electronic module & is located in the wiring harness along the facia carrier.
4: Fault diagnosis of the GEM can be performed by a Ford dealer using a WDS diagnostic instrument, however, it is possible to carry out a limited check of the system as described below.
5: The GEM is programmable & includes a self-diagnostic function. If a new unit is fitted, it must be programmed specifically for the vehicle, as otherwise functions which are not available are recognised as faults & are stored in the memory.

TESTING:
6: The GEM self-diagnosis system can be activated either by a Ford dealer using the WDS equipment or by using the integrated service mode. To enable the integrated service mode, first switch off the ignition & all electrical systems, apply the handbrake, engage neutral (or P on automatic transmission models) & close all doors.
7: Note that the ant-theft alarm sounds, the service mode cannot be activated. First switch the ignition on then off. Press & hold the rear window heather switch then switch on the ignition release the rear window heather switch. At this point, a signal sound the indicator lights come on to indicate that the service mode has been entered.
8: Switch the wiper switch to the ‘Off’ position to test the input signals, then check the following components ( in no particular order). An acoustic signal sounds & the direction indicator lights flash to indicate receipt of each input sinal bu the GEM:
A) Direction indicators (right, left, hazard warning lights).
B) Sidelights.
C) Intermittent wipe, windscreen.
D) Wash/Wipe system, windscreen.
E) Rear wiper.
F) Wash/Wipe system, rear window.
G) Doors Open/Closed.
H) Remote release switch in the centre console for the tailgate/luggage compartment lid.
I) Tailgate/luggage compartment lid release button in the tailgate/luggage compartment lid.
J) Open the tailgate/luggage compartment lid with a key.
K) Locking key on the remote control (the ignition key must not be in the ignition during the test).
L) Release key on the remote control (the ignition key must not be in the ignition during the test).
M) Tailgate/luggage compartment lid release key on the remote control (the ignition key must not be in the ignition during the test).
N) Bonnet open/closed (in vehicles equipped with an anti-theft alarm system).
O) Heated rear window.
P) Heated windscreen (where fitted).
Q) Ignition On.
R) Automatic transmission, selector lever position P).
9: Switch the wiper switch to the ‘intermittent‘ position to test the output signals – pressing the rear window heater switch activates or deactivates the output signals in the following order:
A) Front wipers (a signal sounds the direction indicator lights flash when the Park position is reached).
B) Rear window heather.
C) Interior lights (the switch for the interior lights must be in the ‘Door contact’ setting).
D) ‘Door ajar’ warning light in the instrument panel.
E) Rear window wiper.
F) Windscreen heather (when the engine is running only).
10: The GEM automatically exits the service mode 20 seconds after the last input or ifthe vehicle is driven. This is indicated by three acoustic signals by the direction indicator lights flashing.
11: If a fault is indicated, first check all wiring & connectors for damage, then if necessary, check the component.

Jeg vil skyde på du har en rigtig træt magnetafbryder tror jeg det hedder på dansk. Solenoid på fremmedsprog. Der er kun en vej frem teste dem alle en for en. Jeg ville starte med den i bagagerummet.
